Hi! My name’s Ming and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Law & Arts at Monash University.
When I am not studying, I enjoy reading, crocheting (wasting money on more yarn) and exploring new cafes and restaurants with friends. I am very well aware of the stress and anxiety VCE (particularly the English exam) can produce. Honestly I think I was more worried for English than any of my other subjects. My tutoring philosophy is therefore to teach in a way that combines learning and enjoyment, since forcing yourself to study is very ineffective (believe me, I’ve tried).
My hope is that my students will fall in love with their texts (however annoying the protagonists seem) and cultivate a newfound appreciation for English, with your academic improvement serving as the cherry on top.
