TERMINATION OF TUTORING

PAYG students

After notification of tutoring termination has been emailed to hello@lisasstudyguides.com, all PAYG students will be charged for any remaining lessons and billed as usual on our fortnightly timetable. No further action is required. 

Bulk package students

After notification of tutoring termination has been emailed to hello@lisasstudyguides.com, any unused balance will be refunded, minus the full price of one lesson. Any hours previously used on the current bulk package will be charged at PAYG price. 

For example:

Sarah has purchased a bulk package of 10 hours for $650. She has used 6 hours and has 4 unused hours. Sarah wishes to terminate tutoring and obtain a refund.

Lisa’s Study Guides will revise the current bulk package:

- Charge $420 (PAYG $70/hr price) for 6 hours used

- Charge $70 (PAYG $70/hr price) for termination penalty (for administrative costs)

- Refund remainder of the bulk package = $650 - (70 x 6) - 70 = $160

- The refunded amount will be available in your credit card within 5 - 10 business days.
